Blank Nerd Gift Card Policy & Terms

Welcome to the Blank Nerd Gift Card Policy page! We are thrilled you've chosen to give the gift of collecting. Please review the following terms and conditions regarding the purchase and redemption of Blank Nerd Gift Cards. Digital Gift Cards can be purchased HERE.

1. Purchasing & Delivery

  • Digital Delivery: All Blank Nerd Gift Cards are digital and will be delivered immediately via email to the purchaser's email address provided at checkout. This email will contain the unique gift card code and redemption instructions.
  • Physical Cards: Blank Nerd does not currently offer physical gift cards.
  • Denominations: Gift Cards are available for purchase in predetermined denominations as listed on our site.
  • Fees and Expiration: Gift Cards do not expire and are not subject to any activation, service, or dormancy fees.

2. Redemption & Use

  • Eligibility: Gift Cards are redeemable exclusively for merchandise purchased online at our official Shopify store: www.blanknerd.com.
  • Redemption Process: To redeem, the unique code provided in the delivery email must be entered at the time of checkout.
  • Valid on All Products: Gift Card value can be applied toward the purchase of any eligible product sold on the Blank Nerd website.
  • Multiple Use: A Gift Card can be used across multiple transactions until the balance reaches zero.
  • Multiple Cards: Up to five (5) Gift Cards may be redeemed per single transaction.
  • Insufficient Funds: If the order total exceeds the Gift Card balance, the remaining amount must be paid using an accepted secondary payment method (e.g., credit card, PayPal).

3. Restrictions

  • No Cash Value: Gift Cards cannot be redeemed for cash and have no cash value, except as required by law.
  • Non-Transferable: Once purchased, the Gift Card value is non-transferable.
  • No Resale: Gift Cards may not be resold or used for unauthorized promotional purposes.
  • Purchase of Other Gift Cards: Gift Cards cannot be used to purchase additional Blank Nerd Gift Cards.
  • Promotional Exclusion: Gift Card balances generally cannot be used to cover shipping or tax costs unless the remaining balance is sufficient to cover the entire order, including those fees.

4. Lost, Stolen, or Unauthorized Use

Blank Nerd is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or unauthorized use of Gift Cards. Treat your Gift Card code like cash. We highly recommend keeping the original purchase email safe. Due to the secure and private nature of gift card codes, we are prevented from accessing, viewing, or transferring gift card codes ourselves. This minimizes unauthorized access or misuse of your gift card information.

5. Returns and Refunds

  • Final Sale: Gift Cards are non-refundable. All sales of Gift Cards are final.
  • Refunds with Gift Cards: If an item purchased entirely or partially with a Gift Card is returned (in accordance with our standard Returns Policy), the portion of the purchase paid for by the Gift Card will be credited back to the original Gift Card code for future use.
  • Store Closure Policy: In the unlikely event that Blank Nerd ceases its online operations indefinitely, any remaining Gift Card balances will be refunded to the purchaser or the holder upon request.

6. Currency and Exchange Rates

  • Store Currency: The base value and balance of all Blank Nerd Gift Cards are set in United States Dollars ($USD), which is the currency of the Blank Nerd store.
  • Purchase Conversion: If the purchaser buys a Gift Card in a local currency (e.g., $CAD), the purchase amount is converted to the $USD Gift Card value using the currency conversion rate set by our payment processor (Shopify Payments) at the time of purchase.
  • Redemption Conversion: When redeeming a Gift Card for a purchase made in a currency different from $USD, a currency conversion will take place at checkout. This conversion uses the exchange rate active at the time the Gift Card is redeemed, not the exchange rate that was in place when the Gift Card was purchased.
  • Balance Display: When a customer checks their Gift Card balance, the value reported will always be in the store's base currency ($USD).
